Transition Everett: Reaching for Resilience

Individuals, groups and organizations collaborating locally to address the challenges of Peak Oil and Climate Change.

The Transition Movement offers a model for how we can take on these issues while building community and creating real Quality of Life.

The goals of a Transition Culture are to collectively vision a future that is not dependent on fossil fuel and use the ingenuity, energy and creativity of the citizens to get there. There is a tremendous amount of activity in other US Transition Towns and many are providing inspirational examples of what can be accomplished.

The Transition Initiative is not about having the answers, but gives the framework for us, here in Everett, to let the solutions emerge by creating a vision of life not dependent on cheap, plentiful oil and using the power of our community to make it happen. Let's get to work!

If you are part of an organization that shares the goals of Transition and would like to be recognized on this site then, by all means, Add your Group to the network.
